Skydive Phoenix Inc is Arizona’s friendliest dropzone. We pride ourselves in making your experience safe, fun and memorable. Be it a special occasion, team building or just trying to break out of the mold, Skydive Phoenix Inc will train and assist you in your first skydiving experience.
We are not the largest skydiving drop zone in the world but we are the best and skydiving is our passion. Skydive Phoenix Inc is not only a business but a place where skydivers can go to enjoy the experience of a lifetime. We want the opportunity to show you our world, the world viewed from miles above the earth and the world of flying thru the air at 120 miles per hour. We treat our customers like our family and will do what ever it takes to provide you with a fun, friendly, laid back atmosphere. We are so close to Phoenix in fact that you can see the whole city on the plane, during free fall and under the parchute (we are the only drop zone “DZ” in Arizona that offers this).
Our coaching staff is here for you and your enjoyment. They consist of some of the best military and civilian personnel in the nation. Our staff wants to be a part of your first and hopefully continuing experience of skydiving. Come meet our friendly, experienced, world class staff and share in our passion.
For the non-skydivers, please feel free to stop by and watch. You will fall in love with the skyline as the parachutes open as well as the energy and the excitement of the canopies landing only feet away from you!

Tandem Jump Program:
The Tandem Skydive Jump is the easiest, safest and most comfortable way to make a skydive. You experience all the exhilaration of skydiving, secure in the knowing that a trained instructor is harnessed snugly at your back. It is similar to taking a flying lesson; the instructor sits beside while you get hands-on experience. Our skydive instructors average well over 1000 jumps and have completed certification courses on the highly reliable Tandem Parachute System.
For a nominal fee our freefall camera person will videotape the entire experience. The videotape includes frames of you on the ground, in the aircraft, as well as close-up pictures during freefall. The camera person will also captures your landing and comments after the jump (the package also includes 40-60 HD color photographs).
In order to do a Tandem Jump you must be at least 18 years old and weigh no more than 230 lbs. Please contact Skydive Phoenix Inc if you weigh more 230lbs. (certain restrictions over 230 lbs apply. It doesn’t mean you can’t jump – its on a case-by-case basis. Please call us for more details)
Contact Skydive Phoenix Inc at 480.557.JUMP (5867) to schedule an appointment. Our pricing information is available online or call for our latest specials.
Tandem Jumps are made in street clothes and tennis shoes, we supply a jumpsuit and goggles. The training and jump can be completed in as little as 2 hours, but allow extra time for inclement weather or other variables.
During your Tandem Jump, you experience all aspects of this extreme sport! If you decide this sport is right for you, then one of our Accelerated Skydiving Programs is the next step.
Accelerated Freefall (AFF):
The AFF program consists of seven levels and can be completed in seven jumps: providing that you have mastered the required skills on each jump. Upon graduation, you will know all the basic skydiving skills. This means you can make turns in freefall, do back and front loops, move horizontally and hook up with other jumpers, and steer your parachute to a stand-up landing in the target area. This will certify you worldwide as a novice skydiver and start to qualify you for your USPA A license.
On the first three AFF jumps you are accompanied by two jumpmasters who initially act as training wheels to help you stabilize in freefall, observe your progress, and correct errors in body position or technique. On the remaining four AFF jumps, one jumpmaster will accompany you. Prior to the first AFF jump, you will receive 6-8 hours of ground school, and prior to each subsequent jump, a 1 hour (briefing).
AFF jump prices include all required gear, instructors, and aircraft. We also have package deals available.
Accelerated Skydiving Program (ASP) get your “Solo” status:
The ASP program is a state of the art training method used to help progress a student to solo status in a safe accelerated method. ASP combines the Tandem and Accelerated Freefall techniques. You will undergo the ASP program by first performing two tandem training skydives. On these jumps, you will get to “feel” the air without the typical inhibitions of a solo skydiving. This allows you to better handle the adrenaline overload that typically leads to a “deer in the headlights” syndrome. In addition, the initial tandems train you how to “pull”, glide forward, and turn in freefall. In addition, you you will learn how to control and land the canopy. After the first two tandem training jumps, you can then follow the regular AFF course, at a discounted rate.
The Accelerated Skydive Program (ASP) is the preferred method and the most popular because it combines the tandem and Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Program. This program allows the student a more easily understood progression (your not trying to drink from a fire hose). The initial 2 tandem jumps allows our instructors to give the student more in-air teaching time with less classroom time. It is much easier to learn by doing rather than trying to learn in a classroom. You actually get more jumps for less money by completing the Accelerated Skydiving Program (ASP).
